Have you ever heard of "Net-Zero" schools before? Well we recently found out about them and they really seem to be taking off in this era of GREEN building, carbonless footprints and sustainable living.

The state of Maryland (Columbia) just opened their first location of this innovative type of school (Wilde Lake Middle) this month and the brand new learning facility is already providing its' students with benefits and advancement; in more ways than one. The children are the future right?

Basically, this concept was introduced to help large facitlites create as much energy as they use, to ultimately reduce high costs and excessive carbon footprints. These types of buildings are developed from scratch or by retrofitting an existing building.
