Breathe In, Breathe Out

The tagline, "healthier cities through data" is also the mission statement for the partnership between Google Maps/Street View Cars and internet-connected sensor network, Aclima.

The tech giant and the internet-connected sensor network are working together to collect city air as data points, to produce digital insights that will help in determining ways to convert the quality of the polluted air being consumed in highly populated cities, to healthier levels. Denver, Colorado was the first city to be tested.

This is the first time that a method like this has been able to produce tangible results on something as lightweight and invisible as air.
