Onward and upward is definitely the motto when referring to the new design concept called the "Tubular Tree House”, that was imagined by architect Aibek Almassov, for "A.Masow Design Studio”, in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

The modernly designed “tree home” is completely see through and is made out of glass solar panels, which make it sustainable enough to function off the grid, even in the deepest forest. The 65 foot, giant glass tube’s concept also proposes a rainwater collection system as its’ only water supply.

Even though this project is recent news, the concept was actually created in 2013 and was almost a go, until all of the backing investors pulled out. The project's popularity is beginning to pick up some new found steam though.

All of the this gives a new meaning to the good old fashioned "tree house" eh? To learn more about the "Tubular Tree House" project, visit: til.ink/1UFAPQP
