We hear about everything ‘going GREEN” these days; from emissions to sustainable houses but what about furniture?
Yes, you read that right. Furniture. Summer is still many months away but why not plan head by getting a “Zero Energy Table”? What is that you ask? Well a “Zero Energy Table” is a newly crafted and innovative conference table that recycles hot air (71 degrees or higher) into cold air and releases it back into the room.

It functions very similar to how an air conditioner does and this fairly new conceptual piece that was created by French designers, Jean-Sébastien Lagrange and Raphaël Ménard, will become more of an option in the near future.

The phase-changing material based table will only use about 30 percent of what an HVAC system would use; to cool off a room of about 15 people. So get ready because it’s coming!
