Energized Pre-Fab

Australia has done it again by creating their first "carbon-positive", pre-fabricated, livable space.
Imagine being able to pick veggies from the exterior wall and roof of your home! Well, Burnley, Victoria based modern design firm "ArchiBlox", has developed a modular prototype that allows you to do just that; along with a host of other energy efficient functions.

What is a "carbon-positive" house you ask? A "carbon-positive" house is a dwelling that creates more energy than it actually takes in, by generating positive-energy from photovoltaic (solar electric) panels. So the house literally pays for itself while producing natural resources to its’ occupants at the same time.
Just one of these houses existing is equivalent to the good karma and clean energy from about 7,000 native trees! So we need other environmentally conscious design firms to start producing more of these so that our environment can become healthy again.
Check out just how “ArchiBlox” created this concept in detail and why they did it, right here: http://bit.ly/1PMoNko
